Gufc 1st Home Game in the League

I heard last night that our 1st Home game in the league againist limerick is on Thursday 16th of March

Surely Saturday night would have been better

I agree with Thursday think its better than having it on the Friday or Saturday..
It will get the biggest crowd and with the GAA and rugby on that weekend and St. Patricks day too!!

Ya it seems it was decided early last week.
It was on The Sentinel last Tuesday.

there will be a big marketing drive for this game and the amount of good publicity we will get from switching it to accomodate the other sports will add to the crowd.If we win in Monaghan expect to see a very large crowd over 1,500 i would say.
