Loan Deals for Doran and McMahon

Loan Deals for Doran and McMahon
    21 February 2006

Dundalk FC Manager John Gill has today decided to send promising young players Christopher Doran and Conor McMahon on loan to Kilkenny City until July.

Speaking to dundalkfc.com General Manager Peter Halpin said "Conor and Christopher are players of enormous potential but the time is not right for them to get into the Dundalk first team. They will benefit from a spell at Buckley Park and we look forward to them returning to Oriel Park in the summer. They are two very professional and dedicated players and we are sure that they will do very well for Adrian Fitzpatrick in Kilkenny".

The two lads came from St Pats during the winter .... does anyone know what positions they played in while they were there ?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Dont know anything about them - but I think McMahon is a centre half??
Cant see them being that good though - if they were why would Dundalk agree to let them go on loan to us??
Afterall we thumped them 5-0 last year - yes, I know this year will be different but still I think it seems a strange move
