Irelands first world cup opponents Cameroon drew 2-2 with England this morning.
Cameroon took the lead through Samuel Etu (spelling?). Darius Vassel equalised before Geremi scored to put Cameroon back in the lead. In the dying minutes of the game Robbie Fowler salvaged a draw for the English.

france beat south korea 3-2. late winner from lebouef. korea could and probably should have won. zizou went off with a small tear in a thigh muscle after about 40 mins.

Looking at the highlights of the game, I think Cameroon will be our most difficult game. I shudder when I think of Staunton and co facing the speed and power of that team....
I would also think that Ingerland will be out of the competition on June 12th....
