    New eL crests

just noticing the change of a few eircom League crests while across the water...

why does the Limerick crest look so much like Leeds United's new one? Although I do like the new UCD one though, although the addition of 'Dublin' was a bit unececssary, even GAAH heads knows its in Dublin ... any new eL kits announced too? Trying to catch up for the new season, and quite hard to do that over here...

You'd want to cut out that kind of talk if you want to visit Belfield next year.

Who manufactures Lims kit these days? Oh and Schumi, I actually reckon the new UCD crest looks vaguely like an Irish bank corporate logo..... also a 3 letter acronym...

To let you know before we start, every possible UCD Dublin, AIB Bank, ATM Machine, Pin Number joke had been done to death.

nice enough design (even if its the latest adidas kit design on left side, typical O'Neills, cant make up their own design without ripping off others...), would have been a decent away kit, why did everyone vote for black though?

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Wasn't designed by O'Neils one of the members with a background in this sort thing and Gareth farrelly did up 8 different designs and they were put to the vote dont know why they went for black. I like the shirt but it's just not bohs without the stripes

Umbro since the start of last season. That's when the new crest came in as well.

the jersey looks good but weird not seeing stripes on a bohs jersey. we had a white home jersey with a bit o' red on it in 2004 but it just wasn't right

The thinking behind the new Bohs jersey is that everyone already has at least 3 stripey jerseys, so it's hoped a different design will shift some serious units this season. Our deal with O'Neill's ends after this year so a new, improved quality kit will see the stripes back in 2007.
