Whats yer impressions of John Gill as a manager. He has come into Oriel and talked the talk but from experience what did ye make of him when he was your gaffer?
Jus a question on Gill .... was it his decision to loan the two lads out to Kilkenny?
Just seemed like a strange move, the two lads are doing very well and would have made a big impact to Dundalk this year.
The only thing i dont like about it is that they will leave Kilkenny at the end of the season (more than likely anyway) and Kilkenny will have to start again in those positions.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I guess it was. He signed them and then they didn't get a game. He did sign a host of players and maybe under pressure to lighten his wage load but it is a strange one. Why sign them if they aren't going to feature?
He was a bit of a bluffer for the short time he was with us.
Kept the same line, judge me on my past results, judge me
when I have my own team in place.
His results wern't great with us and he didnt stick around long
enough to get his own team in place.
The team he put together for Dundalk against us was poor enough.
