Gill promises cautious approach
Dundalk manager John Gill has responded to grumblings of discontent from the club’s support by declaring that he is engaging in a back-to-basics approach at Oriel Park.
Gill’s side have scored just once in four pre-season games against Shelbourne, St Patrick’s Athletic, Derry City and Drogheda United. But the new Lilywhites boss feels he is well within his rights to concentrate on bringing about defensive fortitude before he can focus on his side’s creativity.
