Report in the Irish Times said Quigley had a good game and made one or two very good saves to keep Ireland in the game.

Can we presume that that's a tacticle substitution?

What 19 year old is the finished article. Good luck to the lad his career is only starting, it will be hard for UCD to hold on to him.

I can't believe anyone would get into talking about any 19 year old being the finished article. Maybe those who think this need to grow up to..... Has any other UCD player ever captained Ireland at under 21 level before ?

This "finished article" thing is a running joke. See here, here, here, here and here. Not to be taken too seriously!

Fair enough ha ha ! good joke for about 5 minutes ... but for one of your best players this year it must get boring listening to it. As UCD have such a small fan base wouldn't it be worth getting behind the players especially the younger ones instead of just talking c**p. I mean with out the so called finished/unfinished artical along with Hurley, Quigley and byrne (the kids) UCD would have nothing going for them, apart from the older(finished articals) who of course lit up the league last year(joke) BTW.

If you have an aversion to people talking c**p, you're not going to like this internet site.

We do sometimes talk sence but you'll probably have to wait untill the new season starts.

Getting away from the cráp talking...

Dicker scored in today's game, a 2-1 win against Finland. Some gypo scored the other goal.

    Cool,
All this internet talk of matches really has me looking forward to the new season. This must be what it's like to support a team in england.

Are we all heading up to Drogheda?

Ha ha Fookeen ha to the lot of yee doubters. Especially to the git. Dicker is the classiest thing we've had in ages & we won't have him for long. Captain & 92nd minute winner. I don't know why I bother singing his praises to you lot, oh yeah, I just remembered, it so I can SOCK IT TO YEE on days like this!!

Sorry, won't ocnsider him the finished article until he can score a last minute winner in the World Cup final...against Finland...

Delighted for him - when was the last time a UCD player scored for Ireland U-21s?

I see Quigley was dropped for this game to give Randolph a run-out, but it looks like Quigley will be No. 1 when the qualifiers roll around again.

Speaking of which, who are we playing when that Azerbaijan game is on? 'Cos that game's going to be cancelled.
