I suppose we will know if we dont get it. Does anyone know when we find out?

It would be as local a derby as we'll get this year. Good luck with the application.
I have scattered my dreams underneath your feet, tread carefully, cos it's my dreams you walk on.
We should be fine for the licence appeal, if the accounts had gone to the right place we'd have it.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
A home game and a local derby. It's a good fixture to kick off the season.

must be our first encounter in the league in about 12 years![]()
I think Sligo were relgated when we got promoted, so you could be right - probably why there isn't a greater rivalry as I think we are the closest club to Sligo.
some banter at work with sligo rovers and town supporters workin together now. there should be a huge crowd at the game.
nows the time for any new recruits to come to section o for the new season! we are in need of new blood and new chants so anyone that hates where they are in the stand are welcome to come over our side. we dont want sligo rovers to show us up on the first day of the season- i will get slagged off for the next few weeks if we make an arse of ourselves!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
in terms of singing I think ye will get shown up...but its all about the result.
We'll be able to sing "Shall we sing a song for you" soOriginally Posted by Martinho II

Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........
Dont be so ****ing miserable ye lot.The "EASY" chant only really caught on with us at the end of the season but at the last game in inchicore it was the first time in a long time that more then 5 people joined in with w chant.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Easy chants me hole anyway - so 1980's. I read someone on foot.ie claim that Lovejoy had made up the term nutmegFootball AM is only good TV for people to young to remember Saint and Greavies.

I first remember the Easy chant being sung, when Derek Davis got a charade right on Ronan Collins' charade show Play the Game or am I showing my age here? Lovejoy you can sod off.... loved it when he was hosting his chat show wearing a Ramones t-shirt, and some comedian asked him to name any of his albums. The posing tw@t couldnt name any.Originally Posted by Macy

2-1 to Rovers is mine.

I think by the sounds of it, ye will outnumber us fans wise.
We'll win 1-0 or 2-1.

What’s the capacity of the town side stand in Flancare Park?
Around 800-1000 Rovers supporters are expected to make the journey
500 would be impressive for any team to bring....hopefully that amount come from Sligo and id say Longford fans want as many to come as possible
