Legal Affairs Committee to Investigate Ollie-Gate?

OLLIE BYRNE OF SHELS FACING PUBLIC ORDER CHARGES.

From the Evening Herald (24 May 2002)

"A case against Shelbourne Football Club's chief executive, Oliver Byrne arising out of an alleged public order incident at the club's grounds was adjourned at the District Court.

Mr. Byrne of Fortfield Road, Terenure, Dublin, is denying threatening behaviour on September 18 last [in a match v Derry City]. Judge Bridget Reilly adjourned the case to October 11."

    Thumbs up

Too right Ollie should have to face the courts for that incident.

Fair enough if he is cleared but good on the Derry lad(s) for following it through.
