Good on ya! Good to see the womens game developing.
Calling on People of Bray and surrounding areas.
For those of you who didn’t know that there is a bray women’s team well now you do!
We would like to let you know that all new members are welcome and we would like to ask you to come along to our first training session on Sunday in blue pool. There are 5 or 6 girls on the squad from bray already and the others are made up of girls from the brougha and within the group there is past players daughters and sisters from the mens bray snr team. There is new management in place this season and we are hoping to build up a strong squad of players. We are currently in the 2nd highest division in Ireland and this year had no fewer than 4 girls represented the league in the inter provincial cup, where they were beaten by Dundalk in the semi finals.
If you know of any players who would like to come down and play please contact me for further details, as I said it is a high standard so we would be looking for girls / ladies who have played before and have a keen interest. Also if anyone would like to help us out thought out the season all your help will be gladly received.
We look forward to seeing you all this season.
Regards
Assistant Gaffer

It's an incredible rise to stardom, at 17 you're more likely to get a call from Michael Jackson than Sven Goran Eriksson.

Where r u's based? I know u r called Bray Wanderers but do u's play any of your home games in d Carlisle Grounds? Have played before and am lookin 4 a new club dis season cause my club have folded.
Yes they do play some of there games in the Carlisle Grounds but not all of them, i could be wrong but i think a lot og the games are played in the Dun Laorie area ?Originally Posted by Stan 19

The current situation is we play summer football as to the mens snr team so this makes it hard to have games over lapping etc.. so as there are no pitches in bray available we have been playing most of our games in the dun loary area, but if on any occasion we can get the ground it will be made available to us.
As i have said stan we have 5 or so girls coming up from the bray area each week so transport wise you wuold be fine. we had our first training session yesterday and it went very well and had one or two new faces, and we are training again on wensday night.
Stan PM me and i will tell you more details
Cheers.
