Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

Shameless on Channel 4 is good.

season 5 of curb is out now ( not on DVD but if you know where to look you ll find it ) brilliant pure class .

i should start a favourite curb moment tread at risk of clogging up this one .

one of my fav bits ( there are so many this could turn into an essay) is the fight with ben stiller over getting into the front seat of the car !! there screaming at each other "your a baby " "no your the baby "!!!!! .

Well Arrested Development should be one of the best known shows on the planet but, like Seinfeld and Larry Sanders before it, has been given shamefully weak coverage by Irish and British TV. And now it's future in the US hangs in the balance so there might not even be any more DVDs for us to enjoy.

Curb has also been ostracised by channels in this part of the world (with the notable exception of TG4 ), mostly because the supposedly permissive British TV industry would collapse if anyone used an anagram of "CNUT" freely, much less base a few shows around it's use.

The US version of The Office and Andy Richter Controls the Universe are other good shows that are hard to find on TV.

Arrested Devolpment is worth a watch, as is Black Books (think RTE2 are showing it on mondays) and if you go to your local HMV pick up Spaced, Red Dwarf or Larry Saunders Show on DVD as they never age.

I watched a bit of Arrested Development but couldn't get into it at all.

TG4 seems to be guarantee of quality US shows.

Nip Tuck is quiet good too & would assume its a HBO production as can be fairly dark.

Shamless on e4 last night was great tv. "Its all too real"

you would be lucky to get 'strangers with candy' on your side of the water, sitcom about an ex-hooker/junkie who goes back to u.s. high school at the age of 43. guaranteed to offend nearly everyone at some point (no stupid laff track either)

its not, hence the lack of total nudity. Think its ****e myself. Would agree with the comedies mentioned so far (except Mighty Boosh, never seen a full ep...) Scrubs is quality and doens't get anywhere near the recognition it deserves too

Liked Black Books on channel 4. Saw a small bit of "peep show", and it seemed ok. Cant say if its really any good though, Ive not seen enough of it. Law and order (particularly Criminal intent) is excellent.
