if they can sell Pienaar for a fortune (as they are trying to do) then i could see this move happening. Hunt is no Pienaar though.

Yes, I don't think this new news though, i think I have heard they have an interest in him before.
    Indeed I have.

Will cost more than £7 for the pair now I would imagine, and Mick McCarthy won't be too happy.

I think Pienaar only has a year left on his deal which would lessen his value considerably

I don't know where they get their information. Everton have pretty much no money for transfers.

Are you sure that they're 'trying' to get rid of Pienaar? Moyes has explicitly stated in the media that he feels Pienaar would be worse off away from Everton. Maybe Pienaar wants to go, or other clubs are interested, but I don't think Everton want to get rid of him.

A good WC for Pienaar could top off a great season in the EPL and ensure Everton cash in on $$$$ - As stated above Hunt would be no replacement though.

Have to agree, he is rivalling Nigel Quasie for clubs that have gone down with him in the squad.

    Only if you can't count

He has been relegated twice from the Premiership, and he was injured in the second run in. at least Premiership clubs want to buy him, or is it that
all those managers who want to buy him know nothing about football?
For any club coming up the odds of relegation are high.

I mean if man u signed him and they got relegated that would be significant, but you can't
    say the same about Hull!!

Lower premier league is his level so it's hardly surprising he's featured in some relegations. The fact he's twice been plucked from the wreckage would suggest he was one of the better performers for those downed clubs.

I'm not that fussed about the club he's playing at. His work rate, nuisance value and excellent delivery make him a valuable player for us. With Duff likely to miss a fair few games for us every season I think Hunt is good back up, and worth a start sometimes. He gives natural width which is important for the way we play. We'd have missed him if we were in SA.

Stephen is set to play for the reserves next week as the next stage of his return from injury.

Wolves could certainly do with Stephen back fit. They are going through a bit of a bad spell and Stephen could be the spark that sets something going for them.

Seemed lively in the bits of the game against United I saw tonight. Will take a few games to get his fitness again but good to have him back.

    He hit the cross bar.
    Foley scored.
2 goals against Manu is pretty good.

I bemoan his occasional absence of technique but there were moments during that Russia game when I'd have been more than happy to see that terrier interrupting the Soviets leisurely stroll. Good to see him back alright.

    You're being very charitable there.
