Like what, out of interest's sake? I was there in October - lovely weather and plenty of drink and all, but apart from that, there wasn't much to write home about. Fairly dull country really. Might end up being the only game I'll miss this time around, which wouldn't worry me overly.

Get a package out of Belfast

is the cheapest way.Check out Libra Holidays we have already booked a week in Ayia Napa which we stayed in for a fortnight last year and loved every minute of it cant wait to go back. The flight back on the 11th gets in to belfast at 10.50 giving you plenty of time to get down to Landsdowne for the Czech game.

The food is exceptional there and Charlie in the Golden Arrow Pub is the friendliest and best barman in the world.

Try Malev Dublin-Budapest with a connection to Athens, followed by Cyprus Air Athens-Larnaka. Worked out fairly cheap for me last time out, though a pain in the arse timewise (11 hours travelling or something). But if you're looking to save cost first and foremost, could be an option.

If anyone is looking for cheap car hire try economycarrentals.com done me a very good deal last time. Although as October is the end of season most of the hire firms out there were offering cheap car hire anyway.

Right, I've managed to book Cyprus for EUR450pp. This is departing London with Cyprus Airways, for 8 days in a 2 bed apartment in Protaras and includes car hire!
Fair enough if you have to travel from Ireland to England first, add on EUR100 approx. it's still a good deal. And no profit made by the Travel Agents!

    Sites used, www.cyprusairways.com / www.holidaylettings.co.uk / www.economycarrentals.com

youll get a ticket out there or from the fai, www.fai.ie last time with a huge irish support the ground was less than half full, there wont be as many at this game.

This game will be at the begining of the preliminaries and probebly more Cypriots will arrive to support their national team... So it is better if I arrive Cyprus with a ticket in my hand...

Is the only way to get one is by application to fai?

cyprus never ever fill their ground, there will be no problem getting tickets on the day.

I think they put up the price when they realised so many Irish were travelling
as after I had made my application I got an email to say they prices had
    changed.
