Unbelievable. I had written off my chances of getting to this game until today. Work are 'making' me go with 2 customers. Hope they're not stuffy corporate type or they'll be in for a shockcan't wait now. If I've learned on thing from this its not to ever write anything off.....including the Irish team....
Yeah its confirmed for 7.30pm local time which is 5.30 GMT.
In Trap we trust
Less than a week to the Cyprus game and going by the amount of posts on this thread, seems to be very few going. It is ridiculous though having to pay 55 for ticketsand they were only 25-30 face value(paid a lot more myself)for watching 3rd best team in the world.

We got our tickets for €55 as well and it is way too much to be paying for this game. It seems that the fans are always at the bottom of the FAI's list of priorities. There doesn't seem to be many, going does there? Especially for a crucial game. Hopefully the boys will put in a good performance and get the result.
The best thing to do was to wait till you got out there and paid on the gate. Guarantee they'll be selling tickets from 10-15CY£ approx. 20-25E.
Plus once you buy your ticket you can sit anywhere in the ground. I know this from being there last year but also from having lived there a while and following their domestic league.
I wouldn't say it's the FAI making the money on the 55E tickets but rather the Cypriot FA cashing in on our good away support.
Not the F.A.I.'s fault this time. It's the home association that sets the ticket prices.
We are being ripped off again by the Cyprus FA. No doubt it will be €6+ again for a poor excuse for a programme.
The Cypriot Tourist Board should be concerned at the country have lost a lot of tourism revenue thanks to the ripoff from their FA. 8 of us normally go to away games together and only 2 are going this time. I can't remember the last game 2 of the lads missed (apart from being left stuck for the Faroes game) and this will be the only one they'll miss in this campaign.
Yes Cyprus have dropped the ball on this one...we complain about living in a rip-off country but with the prices of some of the stuff in cyprus I don't know how the locals survive. 14 of us went last year and out of that I'm the only one going this year...and thats a work freebie...I would have given this a miss I must admit wouldn't have had the money for it after Germany.
Thing is, this'll be the second time in a year (third in 5 and a half years) that we're away to Cyprus. And aside from the hefty price of the tickets/travel, its fair to say that morale is low among the fans at the moment, certainly more than the last two trips. S'pose its natural that people end up deciding to save their money, shame though it is![]()
