Increase in air passenger duty from February 1st

    Hello

I'm sure most of you are aware of this, but just in case, please see here

It's just in case it affects anyone flying out of Uk airports for this trip.

All a bit of a mess by the sounds of it.

Was reading that yesterday, think it's awful sly of them! If we have booked well in advance of 1st February, we should escape it..
How dare they take our beer money??

07 February 2007 h 12.30 from Rimini to San Marino, returning from San Marino at h 23.00 (Davide is confirming this is ok)

Please confirm asap and let me know if anymore interested. This is the bus that Sambu92 mentioned, we are increasing the bus size to 64 or 77, we are eaiting for update from company. We wish to make a passenger list of real names to have for ourselves - we will not publish this on foot.ie, so please PM Babysis your full names, how many in your party, what hotel/hostel you are staying in(so we can choose a central pick-up point) and one lead contact name and tel number in case we need to contact. The names list is also important so we don't get strays sneaking on the journey home and real pax are stranded!

Thanks everyone, please be aware we are still taking more passengers...please confirm as soon as and PM Babysis your vital statistics
Soylent Green plus 4 others. I will PM Babysis are details

Hey Babysis saw Michael O'Leary on BBC news yesterday saying that Ryanair will be sending out there passengers an email in the next 2weeks to notify they will be charging there passengers the extra amount as they will not be absorbing the cost

if works out at about 7.50Euro per person extra for anyone flyin out of the U.K.

We have been fortunate then....we booked with British Airways ( both ways )
and they have announced that they will NOT be looking for any money from those already booked!

It only affects the flight out (£5 is the tax). Still out of order but typical of the stunts Bliar's junta has been pulling these few years. If they were that interested in the environment they wouldn't be allowing airports to increase, and demand that if airlines want more space to cut out their short haul flights to Manchester etc.
