Check out the Hertz web site 3 of us are flying into Frankfurt and got a Mondeo size car for €66 per day incl taxes.
It may work out cheaper than taxis.
Most hotels will have a car park.

Anyone recommend areas to stay in stuttgart, we've been looking at renting out apartments for the few days, works out quite cheap, most of them in the city centre and Stuttgart west. Other areas we were given were Zuffenhaussen and Wangen. Anyone any clue where they may be??
Try www.hrs.de few hotels close to stadium 4 1/2 kilometeresOriginally Posted by elroy

I'm flying to London with Ryanair on Tuesday 29th for only €50 return & then flying with BA from Heathrow to Stuttgart on Thursday morning returning on Monday afternoon for only £100 Sterling. I was quite surprised it worked out so well....
Myself and 2 mates fly into Frankfurt Hahn on Friday evening. We're going to hire a car and drive straight to Stuttgart that night. We should get to our hotel at around midnight.Originally Posted by wooman
Apologies if this has already been mentioned (couldn't be arsed trawling through the 25+ pages in this thread!) but if you're looking for cheap accommodation and don't mind a bit of roughing it go to the following for camping just 10 mins train outside Stuttgart:

Sent them a mail last week and booked for under 10 Euro a night!!!
Now all I have to do is find some tickets!![]()
good work paulie, might look into the car thing
how much was the car rental per day?
i land in hahn airport for around 4 o clock
That would be my advice anyway. It just seems a little messy if you're getting the train considering that it's an hour and a half drive just to get to the train station. We haven't checked the price of the car hire yet but it normally works out ok if it's between 3 or 4 people. What I would say though is that if you're hiring a car I'd organise it a bit before flying as God only knows how many Irish fans are flying Ryanair into Frankfurt Hahn that weekend and they will only have so many cars available.Originally Posted by wooman
