I think we'll get tickets easily on ebay.de
stadium holds about 53,000. should therefore get at least 5,300 tickets. maybe more depending on how the germans go in the wc

I'm in the same situation as you Ash! Debted up to my giblets! I'd booked flights to Brussels and getting train to Stuttgart €210 which was happy about.
Just booked for one of my mates from Dublin to Stuttgart via London for €155. Gobsheen!
Got a hotel for dirt cheap too!

Booked with www.hlx.com. Not particularily cheap but they are direct flights to Stuttgart.

Return direct from Dublin to Stuttgart

Out Fri lunchtime back Sunday lunchtime

    Cost €258

This compares with Ryanair to Baden Baden ("near Stuttgart") for the same price.

Aer Lingus are over €300 and that is return to Frankfurt or Munich

Anyone going from the North of England use HLX. Use HLX direct from Manchester to Stuttgart

I booked a double room in the Bavaria Hotel Munchner for 3 nights for €170 for the two of us. Used some online reservation securebookings.net.

    I'm sceptical none the less.

Yeah I just walked past Ray Treacy there at lunch time. He is still saying nothing has been confirmed even though its on the German website. I must say I am delighted with my afternoons work. Fair play to letting us know about the game in Stuttgart.

    Cheers

Why are you sceptical , have you handed over the €170 already or will it be taken out of the credit card coming up to the game.

Got Dublin-Heathrow on Friday night with Aer Lingus and then London-Stuttgart on Saturday morning with Lufthansa...good night's sleep to be had in Heathrow terminal I'd say! Saved E20 on the return by delaying the flight back from London by an hour, though I'll probably spend that in the terminal in that hour! Just under E300 all told.

Neil McD who'd you book with? I thought I had done fairly well with Ryanair & German Wings via Stansted at €133 going Thursday back Sunday.

Yeah packages will be about 600 or 700 quid when I have just booked my flights for 100 and tickets will be about 30 and hotel will be about 140 for 4 nights which works out at €270 so dont book packages.

Good question. There's a new format, so if there's a game, it'll be just a friendly. Does anyone know if this will be the case or if the days of U-21 games before the main thing are over?

Any game would have to be within 75 miles of Stuttgart (which limits the options a lot), although that might not count for a friendly.
