Seven of us stayin at Hotel pflieger - think its five mins from main station in stuttgart. We will be leavin Dallas at 2pm Wednesday and arrivin in frankfurt on THursday mornin @ 7. We are stuck there til 12 or 1 til b4 train departs to stuttgart!! Thats four hours of competiition for Sligoproud!! The first hour will be dedicated to a huge fry somewhere in airport or close by. Any recommendattions welcome?
Frankfurt Airport to Stuttgart is far more regular than that. trains depart 7.54, 8.54, 9.20, 9.54, 10.54, 11.20 etc takes just over an hour.
The station is in the airport, I'd suggest going straight there and checking out the next train the Stuttgart.
www.bahn.de has the timetable.
N oreal idea re the fryup but an Irish bar in Stuttgart is a bette rbet than Frankfurt airport.

Anyone got a notion where this is? Its meant to be city centre location, well at least I hope it is!
It's at the North of the city, seems to be a fair bit out of town but there's an S-Bahn station nearby. See here, very useful map site. Just put the street name into the box on the left.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
Yeah we're out that way ourselves in a "central location" but I guess it's better than being told your hotel is in Basel & it turning out to be in Southern Germany!
The stadium is on Mercedesstraße which looks like its only a train ride away anyways.
By the way we're in CITY PARTNER HOTEL FREIHOF if anyone else is.

Just a little reminder to pack the travel adaptors for the mobile chargers. Germany has different plugs and the charges may not last the full trip particularly if people are in contact over there and making the calls home to "the mammy"![]()
Hopefully we won't have a blackout like Paris![]()
