Brussels in 97 was the first away match id ever bin 2, at the tender age of 11, my dad brought me over. remember I was pretty close to the ground so had a pretty crap view, cudnt even see their winning goal (luc nillis was it?) but for most of it i sat up the stand a bit on sum steps. Its a nightmare bein at pitch level in grounds with running tracks. hopefully well all be standin like in paris so the front few rows can just make their way back and join the masses further up

Sorry lads, just wondering what is the best way i can get tickets for the Germany match. i've never gone to away match before and i would love to get tickets but havent a clue how to go about getting them.

Just wondering what is the best way, travel agents, fai, or what. i havent a breeze.

And for the people who are already going to Germany, do you have your tickets yet??

    Cheers!

You can apply through the fai but unless you are block booker you have little or no chance of getting anything.

Your best bet is to keep an eye on the German FA's website and see if they put tickets on general sale. Thats what happened with Paris the last time and the irish bought them by the bucketload. The german equivalent of ticketmaster would be selling them. It could be tough to get them online though if the demand is strong. For Basel '03 the tickets sold out in no time and the websites were crashing cos the demand was so high. But the demand for the german game probably wont be as bad especially if the germans do badly at the world cup.

none anymore - UEFA changed the rules and we play Azerbaijan H&A to try and reach a group with Greece and Belgium.

you'd be better flying to Manchester or Stansted and getting a direct flight to Stuttgart.
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

Word of warning on this site. Some good hotel deals, however take note of the cancellation charges (in case your circumstances change). If you were to book today and cancel tomorrow you would be liable for 10% of the total costs....this % increases the closer you get to your check in date.

Whereas if you book direct with the hotel you can generally cancel up to 24hrs before arrival with no cost implication.
