    Time of Thursday's Fixture Meeting

Just wondering if anyone knew what time the fixture meeting is due to start at on Thursday? If it's a morning start that increases my chances of being able to book flights on Thursday. If it goes on past normal working hours I'll have to wait until Friday as I don't have a PC at home. The airlines are pretty quick to jack up the prices so I'd like to get the flights sorted asap.

Yeah I think you're right but I'll keep an ear out on the day itself anyway. Cheers.

It all depends on how different the teams' wishlists are and how agreeable they are to coming up with compromises.

Was talking to the ticket office in the FAI today. The meeting could well go into Friday but as soon as its over they will put fixtures up on web site. Ideally we dont want fixtures announced till early evening so airlines wont get to jack up fares till next day. Paulie find an internet cafe for thurs evening, there all over the place because the fares will be jacked up for sure the next morning. My money is on 2 from Slovakia Germany or Czech away on the SAts in Sep and Oct with San MArino and Cyprus home on the weds!

Much much better for us if the results of the meeting come outside of business hours. I got to Paris for just over €50 incl tax.

The travel agents and airlines will block off seats between them.

A finishing time iis difficult to predict. The last meeting overran because we dug our heels in for the games that suited us. We have much less clout now and are hamstrung by the limitations on Croke Park.

    Anybody know the starting time?

Anyone know what the plans are, if any yet, for selling Croker matchtickets to the general public?

got a letter from fai about my block booking allocation the other day which mentioned that the decision on croke park ticket allocations was yet to be decided. letter also said that fixtures in croke park were "likely" only so we may well find ourselves still in lansdowne if the planning permission gets delayed
