Yep it's on alright. It'll probably be the first competitive outing for most of what will likely be the DC 1st team (I am assuming that Keely will use this match to play them, as they haven't really featured too heavily up until now)

So I'd expect to see Rooney, McCarthy, Brennan, Rodgers, Freeman, Crowley, McGill, Keely Jr, O'Donnell and one of the ex-Rovers lads (Doyle and McDonnell) playing also.

Consequently I wouldn't expect there to be much between the two sides, and either team could win. Not going to bother reading into pre-season too much at all this year.

Can't make it down but I'd be interested to hear how both sides get on and I'd say it's likely to be as entertaining a game as pre-season games go.

I'm heading down for this, so directions to Jackman Park and assurances that the game will proceed as scheduled would be very welcome.

Don't understand why this fixture couldn't have been played at Hogan Park. With NOC going tete-a-tete against Keely, it's not as though the pitch is going to be employed for any purpose other than leverage...
