    hogan today

Dropped over to Stad hogan yesterday just to see what its like. Pitch has been played on recently but its holding up. Approach to the ground has been really cleaned up by the corpo and its fenced now all the way up to the little gate road into rathbane. inside the ground the far and lower embankments have been covered with gray lite gravel to make it all smooth and usuable and a wall has been built between the path and the embankment on th far side as (FAI rule no standing on footpaths around pitch side wall ) A railing is then to go on top of this small retention wall. Club were asking supporters to come up some night/weekend and give some time to painting the place, ie sc maybe sponsor the paint and fans paint up similar to 10 years ago when the place last got a lick of paint. Ticket box also being built at front gate. Goals also need a lick of paint. About €10,000 put into this little bit of work imo jsut to keep the FAI happy as the lease is still the big issue.

If and when it's confirmed that we actually have a home there I'd have no problem doing it.
The ball is round and has many surprises.
