All of them hopefully. Ryanair to Bratislava will by my first in coz that'll fill up real quick I'd say. Then the Prague one. Cannai wait.
Fixture meeting is in Frankfort next Thurs, so they will be announced some time Thurs or Fri. preferrably Friday evening so we have till Mon am before airlines lash up prices.

hopefully san marino one and bratislava -
say ryanair are licking their lips! bratislava and germany. theyll make a killing!
Will be travelling to them all. I'll be taking a half day next thursday in anticipation of an announcement regarding fixtures as the airlines will hike up the prices straight away.
yeah they wont wait over the weekend to up price .. once they see big interest prices will fly up .. prob be thurs evening when we hear ...though at this stage we will prob be only to book two trips for the autumn as flights arent bookable for next year yet for other away games ..
Hopefully Bratislava , Prague, the German venu and Cardiff for me.
San Marino and Slovakia stand out for me. I've booked all my holidays until April '07 though, so won't be going to anything before that.
Looks like the best way to get to Bratislava is to fly in to Vienna and get a train (only 40 miles' trip).
I assume once the dates are sorted, there'll be the return of the trip threads which worked so well for the last campaign?
I'll head to all bar Cyprus. Not keen to go there again as it's just too like an 18-35 holiday! I'll only head to Cardiff if I have tickets though because the whole of Ireland will be at that one.
We'll have 2 away games before the end of the 'tax' year so I'll get away with 2 business trips for the oul tax returns. Germany and Slovakia with a bit of luck.
There'll be snow on that one.
Getting married in the summer 0f 2007 so i'm gonna have to do a serious amout of saving if I wanna go on a few of these trips. Cardiff definitely, and after that order of choice would be...
Slovakia
Germany
Czech
San Marino
Cyprus
I think they are due to have the fixture meeting on the 9th of February.Originally Posted by Bomb Landsdowne

Regarding plane companies hiking up the prices. I think they have a forumla for all flights in that the first 20 seats go at 99cent and next 20 seats go at the next level of prices etc. Bascially the last 10 seats on any Ryanair flight pay for the flight really and they make money also from all the other people buying stuff on the flight. Thats my understanding of how it works. Bascially demand just drives up the prices like all good Capitalism (yeah right)

Munich for the october internationals would be great cos I presume Oktoberfest would be on at the same time. I'll hopefully make them all but I'm not pushed on Cyprus.
Oktoberfest is on in Sept as has been said already, it does not fall on any international football date.

Hopefully will do Germany, San Marino And Bratislava.

Cyprus.....didn't get to go last time but all of us and hopefully a good few GUFC heads will go too.
Wouldn't mind a trip to Germany aswell....i have a feeling that's where we'll have the biggest support!

Neill McD your half right re the way they price seats, just lkike hotel rooms on the net BUT once they know theres a major sporting event they bump up prices regardless of how amny seats sold for a couple of days around the games. If you check out either Ryanair or Lingus at the start of the month when they load an extra months seats you can guarantee seats to liverpool manchester etc are bumped up the day and night before premiership matches etc. You have to beat them at their own game. Hopefully the fixtures will be announced in the evening and not during the day to give us a chance of getting decent prices.
Was in bratislava in November and have to say is a lovely city.
Found it hard to find a nice hotel so ended up staying on the Botel on the Danube which was pretty cool.
Very cheap less than a euro in most bars for beautiful beer. Only ventured to one irish bar and that was for the obligatory fry in the morning and the beer was only 1.40 a pint in there.
Some of the local beer is strong around 7.9%.
Didnt do anything touristy but spent most time in the pubs and casinos.
Ryanair fly here from almost all airports so it may be worth flying dub - Hahn and the to bratislava.
Its an hour on the train from Vienna which is worth a visit...
