    A Face,

Cork have much bigger crowds and much bigger sponsorship than Shels. They allegedly also pay their players less.
    So why the $h€l$ thing?
We are able to compete and attract top players precisely because we have a very active board / fundraising committee that organises gigs like this. You may jeer, but if your own club was half as active you'd have had a monopoly on the League years ago.

ps personally I prefer the Clash.

Sheliban, relax the head willya .... just having a laugh. I agree though, if we did as much work as ye in fundraising we wouldn't be in a bad position at all. Fair play to ye !!
You are going so i take it Sheliban !!

In the spirit of cross country relations, I think A Face was just having an innocent laugh, and in doing so has further highlighted the fact that for one stunning night only you can see The Drifters, the longest-running band in pop history play some of the most classic songs of the twentieth century in the Gaiety Theatre on Sunday 12th February and apperently tickets are available on ticketmaster and other ticket outlets would you believe.

So yeah A Face is ok and a closet Drifters fan I believe.
