whatever they're called, the flesh-eating species in the film "The decent" were completely blind and physically adapted to eternal darkness (still ****ed cause Nora-Jane Noone kept her clothing on in this film though)
They still had eyes though, which sucked for them because eye-gouging was how one of them died!

    Do moles have eyes? probably!

Doesn't a fly even have the special sort of eye that can see a very wide angle? Don't know the English word for it, but several insects have it...

Mussels don't have eyes. They grow against rocks, so that makes them a non-sea-animal, so they qualify for this thread

Mussels change gender every 10 minutes. Imagine a slow shag, one second the mussel is loving a beautiful female mussel, the next second he's doing a gay act

Do all types of spiders have eyes?

    This one has anyway: http://physics.open.ac.uk/~dbroadhu/spider-trap.gif

After some googling, it appears moles do have eyes.

    Mole Eyes

The eyes of a mole are very tiny and, in the opinion of most experts, serve only a limited function. They are comprised of a thin membrane around the snout which enables them to sense light and little else. There is no evidence to suggest moles use them to locate their prey or to navigate.

The fact that they're common across all groups of animals (reptiles, fish, birds, mammals, etc.) would indicate that eyes developed before all those groups became distinct.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
