Oh no not them again
Has to be Dave Barry with skippy a close second.
Skippy scored a hatful of goals but Davie controlled games & a good leader.
Has to be Davie Barry.
For a man to give up the GAA, after they issued an ultimatum to him to choose, was a big statement on his feelings for City. And he also scored in our two finest moments, the day we won the league, and the goal against bayern.
a giant, a legend.
dave barry. as mentioned above the goal against bayern. coming on against cwambran in wales and turning the game around. he also forced that own goal against galatasary in turkey. the best ever moment was when he scored against bohs in turners cross. he got the ball in his own half and waltzed through the entire bohs team. who remembers that?![]()
Dave Barry, with Johnny C and Skippy in the running aswell. Dave was a good manger aswell, which kinda swayed it for me.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Dave Barry has given his all to the club - firstly as a great player, then as a manager who eventually led a club in crisis to their first FAI Cup success and now as a fan - Barry is so often just seen mingling among the ordinary supporters at the Cross every other week.
Effenberg played like my grandmother!
Dowtcha Davey Barry Boy!
Definately Davey, the man was a leader simple as that, and the skill ouzed out of him![]()
Yeah, its got to be Davey.
Intersesting to see that no one has voted for O££ie Cahill.![]()
