Details of 2006 squad and tactics

    Hello Bray fans!

I am a Finnish researcher studying the Eircom league for an English software company. We are working on a top-selling football management game and the fans are important to us in making the game as realistic and accurate as possible. I appreciate the squad is not yet complete but I was wondering if you could help me with the following details for 2006 season:

    - captain (Jody Lynch?)
    - penalty takers
    - free kick takers
    - corner takers
    - any long throw specialists in the squad?

I am also interested in the formation (4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-4-1-1..) and the tactics (long/short passes, attack/defence) both playing at Carlise Grounds and away.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Jussi

Very tough to answer these questions when the season has not started or any new signings etc have been made. I'll answer your questions on last seasons squad.

    Club Captain - Jody Lynch
    Penalty Takers - Eamon Zayed
Free Kick Takers - David Tyrrell, Eamon Zayed, Andrei Georgescu
Corner Takers - David Tyrrell, Andrei Georgescu
Any long throw specialists in the squad - Stephen Gifford and Robbie Dunne, but he has now signed for Dundalk.

We normally play 4-4-2 with a vaired game, sometime long ball and sometimes short (at home), we also play 4-1-4-1 at times and would use long ball tactics with this (mainly away from home)

Robbie dunne, andrei Georgescu and David Tyrell have left.
Free kicks will be Eamo, or Tarzan.
Corners would be pip or Tresson??
Penos would be Eamo or Tresson or Tarzan.
Play a mixed football style, Long, short, direct passing.
Best formation is 4-4-2, After that they play 3-5-2.
Away matches it depends on who the team is.

Sharks are as tough as those football fans who take their shirts off during games in England in January, only more intelligent.

As i said Robbie Dunne has gone back to Dundalk, Franco has not left and i think Tyrrell will be back again on loan

IMO he'd do more good for us in the box as he's good at attacking the ball.

Getting a bit heated isn't it. Calm down before you blow a blood vessel mate! You're not Roy Keane by any chance ......
