That's what happens with a good U21 team, they want 1st team football. They're in for a shock though when they compare their new training facilities with what they had in UCD.
Are any of them here the full 2 years?
Apparently at least half the Under 21 are either walking or have already walked. Stephen Cashin (goalkeeper) and Darren O'Brien II(midfielder) are in negotiating with a First Division outfit who are also looking for Liam Tiernan (defender). They have had interest from more than one club. Will let you all know where they end up.

Yes Liam Tiernan for one and I think Darren O'Brien II also , even though he walked out half way through last season when the Under 21 players who had been promised first team football in the League Cup got shafted in the Quarter-final. Mind you we hardly ever reach the quarter-final so it was an easy promise to make.
Why would Cashin leave? Sure he's the Freshers keeper and looks like he's going to be reserve keeper this year with games in the League Cup? Also, Darren O'Brien left ages ago, so I don't see how he can leave again now?
I don't think one starter from the XI who played the league final constitutes half our team? Who else is being mentioned?
The only players we need to retain are Long, Harte, Finn, Byrne and maybe Damien Kelly.
Pineapple Stu for Quigley's understudy anyone?
Just wait for the opposition risking red cards trying to injure Quigley!Originally Posted by Poor Student

There's probably a new brilliant 17-18 year old keeper coming through from the scholarship trials more than likely!Originally Posted by Schumi
