i dont know how anybody else here feels about the situation at hogan park but until they secure the lease for the ground i wont be going anywhere near it.the big pr statement from last year gave people, myself included, false hope about the future for limerick fc.7000 seater stadium being the main point and soundbites about knocking on corks andshelbournes doors and beating them etc drew a crowd of 1800 ??? for the first home match.i hope danny drew and his crew dont have anymore pr announcements to sway the masses unless they are the real thing this time, and unless they secure the lease everything else cannot fall into place.pat dolan can come in,wayne rooney, steven gerrard and theirry henry can follow(we wish)....it`ll mean nothing unless the lease is secured....

Is Robbie going to play for Limerick this year?
Expect nothing but publicity stunts if Dolan comes on board.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
i think dolan might be a good thing. NOC hasnt got the football know how so surely dolan will help him there? he might also be a big figure around the town and get people curious? i know for certain ppl who dont turn up to the matches know who dolan is.
the current situation at limerick fc is poor. the potential is there.
the arrival of dolan would sit towards the bottom of the list of questionable happenings at our club since the start of last season.
you gowl!
It will be another sad day for the Blues if that Clown Dolan comes in. Ask the Cork Fans what they think of him ?
why should i? i have my opinion on him seeing as i was at 90% of corks home matches when they went on the unbeaten streak to finish 2nd the season before last, and have read plenty of articles by him.
cork fans will have their opinion on him based on what he has done since leaving the club mainly. football fans are fickle by nature but i sure didnt hear many complaints about him as i stood next to the shed while dolan was managing a fast rising cork team.
you gowl!
The Cork fans thought he could walk on water until he got shafted by Brian Lennox. Ask any open-minded Cork fan and they'll tell you he was very instrumental in winning them the league by assembling the squad and implementing training regimes there that were successful. Ask any Waterford fan who kept them up this season...it certainly wasn't Brendan Rea.Originally Posted by Brucie

What??? ask them what they think of him now, or when he was their manager. Ok so he didn't win the league for them but he most certainly laid the foundations of a league wiining side, Rico only came in midway through the season.Originally Posted by Brucie
