I was hoping we'd be playing a more local First Division side like that team that hope to play in Tallaght, I think they're called Shamrock Rovers?

Spoiling two of Schumi's posts at once, we're playing Rovers on Satruday 4th March (or whatever date the Saturday is) in Belfield at 2:30.

So, less than 3 weeks until we're on the field again. Though does Belfield Park mean the stadium or some pitch with more tilt than a pinball machine?

The Monaghan game will be on the pitch by Foster's Avenue I'd imagine (the tilted pitch has been mostly built on you might remember). Rovers might bring a few with them so that might be in Belfield Park proper maybe. Originally Posted by Poor Student

Your friendly against us: is it going to be on a proper pitch or that cabbage patch we played on last year? I ask this because not having a go but because I and one or two others don't want to travel and then find it is on a poor pitch.
