off the top of my head...delaney said something about having a few beers with staunton after the spain game and remembering stan saying its a shame we lost cause we are good enough to get to the final. delaney saw this as an example of stauntons ambition.
He was on Eamon Dunphy this morning and said that the reason he never rang Aldo or Stapleton was because he was busy doing paperwork over the weekend.

Good article on the Hedald last nite by Paul Hyland regardig Adlridges treatment.He says that he was told he'd be interviewed, then Stan gets job etc....Delaney says that there is absolutely no truth in this, yet and FAI source says it is true. So somebody is definitely telling Porkies, and if it is proved that Delaney has lied to the public, well.....

Dunphy's interviews are a joke ... "you know Eamonn I had an awful lot of paperwork" (as his reason for not interviewing Aldridge). .. how on earth can an interviewer accept that as answer .. they must think we are all idiiots
