He's better than 90% of the Irish comedians out there in a full stand up. I mean if people think Karl Spain is funny
I don't think he's that great at standup, but he's certainly better than a lot of other famous ones - I think Ed Byrne and Tommy Tiernan are ****e, to name but two. His obvservational stuff about Irish people is usually very good, but he wrings the life out of each joke.

Tommy Tiernan is ok but you'd swear he was the second coming of christ judging by some of his reviews. Its one of those stand up where you look at your watch and wonder how much time is left as he starts to bore the **** out of you.

Out of the lot so far, I think the Tuam episode was the worst in terms of quality comedians.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

its back next money at half nine, just before Lost.
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

Last nights show was very interesting. Des was in awful trouble trying to get a laugh outta the crowd he was playin to. The 4 guests were poor, ould fake jugs being the funniest.

    Next week Derry.
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

in all the other area's you could see poverty but you could also see a good community spirit a closeness between neightbours and i felt most people would get on ok in the area's .......except the place in belfast holy crap was that scary the level of hatred from the free stater's you could see them holding back there true feeling as not to apear biggotted ....failed miserably .

anyone see him arrive to the house the key was in the front door and the woman there made a big point about how they leave the keys in the door all the time !!!
