    Bruton Signs for us.

    Willie is back with us this season,should have a few strike options now!

    The official Cork City website confirmed that striker Willie Bruton has joined neighbours Cobh Ramblers.

    Bruton, who joined Cork City midway through the 2005 season, has been a free agent since the season ended and has joined Stephen Henderson's side on a free transfer. Bruton made one full appearance and struggled to make a serious impact during his stay with Cork City.

    I dont think this is a good idea.

    Bruton was a very lazy player in his last season with us and got paid well to score 3 goals.

    so now we have further strenghtened our strongest area on the pitch....look at the stats from last season. We need a left back and an experienced physical midfielder.. to be fair Hendo maybe he intends to use Bruton as a winger..we'll see?

    yeah but neither has a tendancy for that LB position

    You have to consider too that Darren Murphy is by all accounts on the recovery road from injury, when he comes back it will be like another new signing.
