Anyone with info on Robbie? seemed to be loads a few weeks ago when he was "never gonna play for the club again", whats the story now?
Only thing I know is that he hasnt resumed training with the rest of the squad. But that could be cos of work commitments or something else.

As for Kerley at Waterford i think hes been dealt a bad hand.QUOTE]

What!!!! He went for the job and was ''very happy with the set up both on and off the pitch'' He knew what the situation was when he accepted the position (and if he did not it just goes to show the lack of experience he has in getting all the info up front) I think the blas are taking a chance on him rather than the other way around. It's a bit early to be protecting the great Mike Kerley

I dont think he should have got a local to be his number 2. Mike needs someone who he can trust and seek advise from but Lovell . If you think Dolan has an ego

Well we made the back page of the Sun today lads, apparantly the Dolan deal is all but done as he has verbally agreed to sign on and should do so in the coming days. Not too sure if Dolan will be a good thing as he does seem to cause a bit too scandal wherever he goes, and God only knows thats the last thing we need. That said interest in Limerick FC should be spiked in the city for the short term at least, and what with the Junkies dropping into our division this year we should be looking at some decent crowds at Hogan (assuming the local kids don't want to go bush drinking with the Priest there on Friday nights)

He is fast becoming Irish Footballs biggest (most infamous) hate figure !!

Limerick did have hope at one stage it seemed. Pity .... could have really went well.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Anyway, is anyone else getting worried about Dolans stalling? Not because of my undying love for Pat Dolan you understand, it's just I reckon the guy would have pretty good reasons for not signing... Ahem, lease... Ahem, up S hit creek, no paddle.....

Did those players that were meant to have been on their way from Waterford sign?

This article http://www.sundaylife.co.uk/sport/st...p?story=678202 links the big man with Glentoran.

    Fair play.
I think Heffernan was linked with us a while back.

Everything gone quiet on the Dolan front?

I'm presuming that Pat has abandoned the lims project for his anchor man role at Setanta?

Didn't win the league so you're wrong there, didn't build the team. so it is with that I take the rest of what you say with a pinch of salt.
Lost to limerick in the cup.
Club was going pro before he was no board.

He seems to be suited to you more, **** all success, if you think Munster Senior is a messure of success well then you won't be disappointed.

PAt's are still recovering from his spend spend spend.

Delighted he's found a new club, if he gets his way though it will be Limerick FC RIP..... although he may bring you to the dizzy heights of winning a few games.
    It's only just begun...............

Well Said Dodge. The man would be a disaster here. Ego the size of Ireland and ok will bring short term sucess ie Bigger media profile etc but in the long term it will prove , as it has done in all his previous clubs, as being nothing but a self serving exercise on his behalf.

    We dont need him

I agree with the above. In fact, I'd say that Dolan will make the difference that could see Limerick playing in the Delaney PrimÉire league's inaugural season. Dolan has sufficient ability as a coach to get them up to the top or close to the top of the First Division. He will also boost the profile of the club and revamp the commercial side of things (just look at the way he will leverage the games against Shamrock if he's in charge). If it comes down to a choice between CHF and LFC you can clearly imagine Dolan putting the case forcefully to promote Limerick. Based on the last few years Limerick, without Dolan and the changes he would make, would be much less likely to get the nod in this scenario (even if they came top of Division 1).

The key is to have a strong chairman who won't allow him to get in too deep on the finance side and can leverage his removal if/when his ego gets the better of him.
