The name Thunderblaster came from my friends in Donnycarney, Dublin from playing football. I would play up front and I would smash my shots with power, hence the nickname.

I slept, and dreamed that life was Beauty;
I woke, and found that life was Duty.
Thankfully the only punishment was the score line....we played really well and the scoreline doesnt reflect the truth of the game. We had some fantastic chances and kept the Dundalk team on their toes throughout the game....if only 2 more of our really good chances had gone in we would have had a fairer result.
For anyone who spends a lot of time on here id say you have also wondered where the other regular posters got there nickname out of... obviuously not talking about the likes of.. example: JohnGUFC etc...
but ones that seem to have a meaning!!

Gilberto= spent a lot of time working in my uncle/cousins factory when was younger to which my cousin was called Gilbert because are 2nd name is Gilligan, i needed a nickname for Yahoo/Bebo shortly after when i was sitting at the P.C and taught of Gilbert to which i stuck the O on to it and since Gilberto was taken had to add the Eire!(obviously hearing of Gilberto the arsenal player contributed to this beign an O)
At the time i kept changing passwords and names but since that i keep the same password and name gilberto_eire or gilberto_galway
there are a lot of posters i wonder about on here but im not gonna name them and let them get bigheaded to say i remember them.. :-P

Watching the Champions League a few years back when Beckham scored a scorcher of a free kick, we started discussing the best free kick takers of all time and I mentioned Ronald Koeman and how he used to blast his free kicks..my mate then replied that he was fairly handy at the Chipie Curlie's too ala his free against England that put paid to their WC hopes as in my sig...
....obviously we were a bit under the weather Jamaica style that night![]()
