The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

i have the world's most common name which is a pain when you're trying to come up with handles...anyway few years back, sitting in a internet cafe trying to come up with a mail address, clock on the wall was driving me mad, it was frustration and the fact that ticktock was gone.

Full (boring!) story - heading into Dalymount in April 2000, took the last tenner out of my bank account and went into Tesco's - decided to buy a litre of pineapple juice for the game. We won 2-1 (our second win in Dalyer ever) and went on to qualify for Europe, so I kept it up as a lucky mascot-type thing!
Had one occasion in Cork when most of the UCD fans were being kicked out for drinking in the stands and the steward told me to leave. I told him I wasn't leaving 'cos I wasn't drinking and he asked me what was in the carton. I told him pineapple juice and he said "Yeah right". So I gave the carton to him, he opened it and had a sniff and gave it back to me with a disgusted look on his face!

well in my younger days i was in fact a scout for "the bhoys" in good ould

No exciting story for mine I'm afraid, it's just a gradual morph from "webmaster" to "webhamster" to "webhamsta" to "dahamsta". Yawn.
I used Vetinari on sites where I was "the boss", after The Patrician of Ankh-Morpork in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, but I'm on so many forums as "dahamsta" I decided I might as well be dahamsta across the board.
