i have the world's most common name which is a pain when you're trying to come up with handles...anyway few years back, sitting in a internet cafe trying to come up with a mail address, clock on the wall was driving me mad, it was frustration and the fact that ticktock was gone.

Had a pineapple challenge at a couple of matches - drinking two litres of pineapple juice at a match. That's gruesome! So's a litre of grapefruit juice...

Full (boring!) story - heading into Dalymount in April 2000, took the last tenner out of my bank account and went into Tesco's - decided to buy a litre of pineapple juice for the game. We won 2-1 (our second win in Dalyer ever) and went on to qualify for Europe, so I kept it up as a lucky mascot-type thing!

Had one occasion in Cork when most of the UCD fans were being kicked out for drinking in the stands and the steward told me to leave. I told him I wasn't leaving 'cos I wasn't drinking and he asked me what was in the carton. I told him pineapple juice and he said "Yeah right". So I gave the carton to him, he opened it and had a sniff and gave it back to me with a disgusted look on his face!

Didn't get kicked out either!

well in my younger days i was in fact a scout for "the bhoys" in good ould
glasgeh city.i spent my days in the hinterland of scotland watching up and comming talent progressing through the ranks.i was responsible for looking at the lower divisions to see if there was any talent there waiting to be discovered.many a cold day i spent watching queen of the south v
dumbarton and similar glamour ties.my all time favourite scoreline which i almost witnessed was east fife 5 fofar 4.

jim kerr and myself were great buddies as you know he is a big fan.

No exciting story for mine I'm afraid, it's just a gradual morph from "webmaster" to "webhamster" to "webhamsta" to "dahamsta". Yawn.

I used Vetinari on sites where I was "the boss", after The Patrician of Ankh-Morpork in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, but I'm on so many forums as "dahamsta" I decided I might as well be dahamsta across the board.

Mine's is another Hotmail-inspired creation. Tried 'Brendan', then 'Brendy', it suggested 'brendy_ireland', I went for 'brendy_éire', but then had to settle for 'brendy_eire'. To this day it still annoys me that I can't put the fada in.
