Finn Harps release skipper Boyle
Thursday, 12 January 2006 4:14
Finn Harps captain Declan Boyle has been let go by the Donegal club, it emerged yesterday.
The 31-year-old centre half, who was in his third spell with the Ballybofey based club, has not been offered a new contract.
Boyle, whose career also included stints at Sligo Rovers, Glasgow Celtic and Derry City, has won a string of honours since he made his competitive debut for Harps back in March 1992.
He played over 300 games for Harps, but says that he is keeping his options open but still feels that he has a couple more years of football in him.

Was there any story behind this lads? Good player, always gave his all, should have a few matches left in him alright!
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

Roy Keane is still a pri*k!
He's joined Letterkenny Rovers now afaik.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
