Where we still need to strengthen?

Looking at the cuurrent confirmed squad for next season, where do the GUFC supporters believe that the squad needs to be improved, if at all?

    Goalies:
    Alan Gough,
    Mark Cobey,

    Defenders:
    Billy Clery,
    Philip Reilly,
    Nigel Keady,
    Alan Keane,
    Ronan Frawley,
    Ryan O'Donnell,
    Nicky Curran,

    Midfielders:
    Derek O'Brien,
    Mixie Harty,
    Ciaran Foley,
    Alan Murphy,
    Steven Gavin,
    David Cooke,

    Forwards:
    Barry Moran,
    Eric Levine
    David O'Dowd,

Myself, I think we badly need another goalie in reserve, 1 midfielder for on the right, and possibly 1 more striker just to be safe.

Nicky Curran, David Cooke and Mark Cobey have also been retained.

Fran Carter is training with the squad at the present time.

I'd still say we need another goalie, RM (maybe not so much) and striker though.

    There are some players

coming on trial over the next weeks (including Richard Levine). If even 1/2 of them are good enough for the squad, it will be a bonus.

    Terry....

...Would you not have Murphs as a striker.I know midfield be came his position in Derry but i hope he plays up front for us alongside Barry.Baz is a great worker and i think they can ve better than they were before with each other.Murphy will destroy the defence of any team in this league.....i hope he isn't put in midfield, too good up front IMO.

What about Foley and Mixie in central midfield?

I put Murphs in midfield as thats his preferred position. I think he is perfect for in sitting behind 2 strikers (paul scholes esque). Can you imagine defences having to deal with Levine, Moran and then Murphs charging in behind them ? sweet !

that would be a savage front line... wouldn't like to try and defend against that. and secondly is it Lavine or Levine, that wrecks my head!
