We never really had too many sending offs! it was all players gettin a rake of yelow cards! I'd say on average we had about 3-4 yellows every game!
The money could have bought us a new player!

One of them is Foley who got that ban when he was with us though. The other is Gavin(Athlone player) isn't it?

Nobody is perfect, but some of the bookings we got were ridiculous, especially from the likes of Duddy and Co. It just goes to show, it all comes back to haunt you in some way!

We wont be able to afford to do that this year .we will need a lot more discipline.and not picking up stuipid booking for throwing the ball away and stuff like that.Every game next season is a big game and we need every player to use some common sense!

I think Conor O'Grady is the biggest offender in terms of picking up stupid bookings. He has a bit of a temper toward's refs and goes in with silly tackles now and again. He'll have to improve on this, as a red card could end up costing us a game.

Hopefully the standard of refereeing will vastly improve in the Premier division thus the flashing of yellow cards by ignorant refs for no reason will not happen
