I see Fulham have just signed a 31 yr old New Zealander called Simon Elliott.
Better or worse than Ronnie O'Brien, or do they compare?
Because the MLS season runs from March-November, the US MLS are currently at a training camp in California as they have a few friendlies coming up. They have a video about some of their training, good stuff. Click on the "Beep Test":

Some other good videos there too especially the Mexico game videos.

I think I got to level 12 or something when I last did the bleep test. Your man O'Donovan got to level 16!Originally Posted by Metrostars
Elliott is more of a holding midfielder where as O'Brien plays a more attacking hole in Dallas. He is a solid enough player, though I'd say O'Brien has a slightly better reputation over here. I'm surprised that Elliott was signed as there are a good number of players who are better in his position in MLS. Good luck to him anyway.Originally Posted by Stuttgart88
