The following players will miss the opening fixture of the 2006 season due to suspension, David O'Dowd, Derek O'Brien, Juan Rojas, and Stephen Gavin. Ciaran Foley, who has officially signed, will miss the opening three fixtures. In other news the club is trying to arrange two more preseason friendlies against Premier League opposition, when these are confirmed they will be posted on the site and in the newsletter.
