City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

    Well Mr Hoolahan,

How'd it feel playing the last 17 minutes and getting beat 2-1 at home by Alloa (8 points adrift at the bottom of the Scottish 2nd Division)?

    Step up? LMFAO

I suppose its like Shels losing to Bluebell United or someone...?

1 less chance for Hoolahan to play against bigger clubs in the cup.

    SPL v EL

Seems this debate is going round in circles. not sure if it's been suggested but why not (in time) add some scottish teams to the setanta cup, (excluding celtic and rangers). since they cover the SPL. Maybe the top two or three clubs in the league (excluding old firm) and maybe the 1st division winners. Or some sort of other format.

IMO the SPL is a better league on the whole but the top clubs in the EL are better than some opposition in the SPL. The EL is growing nicely (despite adversity) and it would be nice to look back in 5 years and know that the EL is as good if not better than the SPL on the whole.

Also the Welsh Prem League cannot be seen as better than the EL. IMO the EL is way ahead of the WPL.

Would love to see a big League Cup tournament between all the league clubs from England, Ireland, the North, Scotland and Wales, obviously with staggered entry points to Monaghan don't draw Man Utd in the First Round. It's been talked about once or twice I think, but with us in summer soccer, that'd knock it on the head for us at least.

It'd be interesting to admit, say, the SD1 champions and runners-up and the top two clubs in Wales. Again, though, there's only so much time to play with because of the summer/winter swap.
