    not bothered

It wasnt high on our agenda for many years as we barely had 11 players to start the season with/same time as MSL! Kinda seen as a cork comp as well so...This year im sure its being used to trial players and use it to keep the frindge/under 21s/fat players fit!

We weren't involved for a wide variety of petty reasons to be completely honest. I'm glad to see us back on board. Let's hope Waterford follow our example!
The ball is round and has many surprises.

I dont think lads you will be seeing the blues play in the MSC for a long time, total waste of time with the risk of injuring players in a useless competition.

Just in case you are having difficulties in understanding plain english , the club have expressed no interest at all in the MSC and i dont blame them, its a mickey mouse competition.
Oh by the way the club has won a lot since it was formed in 1930-- 6 league wins,2 fai cups and 2 league cups, played the best teams in europe and not pub league teams where the whole league was disgraced by a performance in wales, so please dont start trying to stir up something and make stupid statements and also come on a thread that has nothing got to do with you as you aint in MUNSTER. So stop trolling.

Are Rockmount in your side of the draw so ?

Carrick Utd / Avondale Utd vs Cork City

is one piece of the jigsaw.

good to see some Waterford clubs taking the competition seriously

According to the Cork AUL site this is the draw. This was posted near the start of December so I guess some of the "or" fixtures have already been decided. The post above suggests that they have too. Can anyone update it?

    4th Round Draw
    1. Limerick FC v Crosshaven or Ballinhassig or Avenue Utd
    2. Douglas Hall or Carrick Utd or Leeds or Blarney Utd or Avondale Utd v Cork City
    3. St Mary’s or Tramore Ath or Kinsale v Clonmel Town or Carrigaline Utd or Tralee Dynamos or Temple Utd
    4. Cobh Ramblers v Crofton/Garryduff or Casement Celtic or Rockmount or College Corinthians

Would I be right in saying that the last game Limerick played in the competition was the 94/95 final when they beat Cork City 2-1 at the Cross ? I remember that game was played after the English FA Cup final. Not too many at the game either. Dave O'Connell was very prominent for Limerick in that game.
I think it is useful for LOI clubs as a pre-season workout and a chance to look at fringe players.

The winners of all the afilliated junior leagues in Munster are invited to play in the competition each season, together with the clubs in the MSL and LOI.

you mean you lot haven't got over getting booted out of the competition and banned from it for not turning up for a final and tryin to cover up with pathetic excuses about players on holidays. its what you'd expect from a small club like waaaaaherfur i guess

I expected an answer like that from a C.A.W.K.I.E , Jesus for a small time club like us as you call it we have achieved a lot in our lifetime, and yes i did get it confirmed tonight that the club has no intention now or ever in competing in the MSC as they see it as an unnessesary tournament.
But i suppose it has been the highlight for ye in the past few years

Do you follow whats going on in the league? A Waterford supporter slagging off a Cork supporter right now really is an example of triumph of hope over experience.
