    New City Shirts

Just spotted this on Wrexham's website >

    http://www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/today/vi...,10311,00.html

They are giving the supporters the chance to vote for their preference for new home and away jerseys.

I heard Le Coq are coming up with a new 'away' jersey for Cork City to replace the current white one. Any chance they (and CCFC) could get the supporters involved in the choice process?

lennox says CITY will be playing in a new home jersey and it will b white with green & red trim, just like the old days. thats why last seasons home shirt is only 20 euros in town.

i'd rather steer clear of the red jersey. It makes us look too much like shels and st. pats.

Yeah, I think people associate a red jersey with city and all things Cork. We'd best stick with red for now.

The club should definitely stick with RED - it's just a Cork thing. How about modelling the new away jersey on the very same design as the old home jersey we wore against Bayern back in 1991 with the wavy strip!!
    Effenberg played like my grandmother!

    Lightbulb

I took well over a year to get the "new" home jersey last year & not they want to go & change it again.

Hows about just cahnge the away jersey to predominatly white with a good dash or green 'n red?

I agree but current jersey is good too. I knoe Noelle tried to add a bit of green to the trim but think she was a bit oo sparing with it.

Bit of deja vu here but Pjamas jersey probably best though

Its to make the club money, you know, income away from gate reciepts. You dont actually have to but them you know.

The red one is rocking but regularly mistaken for a Liverpool shirt here in Dubland. I think they should keep all jerseys for at least two seasons and not end up like SCUM UTD changing jerseys every season.

There is an argument for getting a new jersey for a new era and all that but it smacks of money grabbing to me...

Sure unless you buy your jersey at the club shop the club surely won't make a penny on it?

I can't see le coq giving city a cut of every city jersey they sell.

Current home jersey is at least made with materials unlike the previous red 'shiny' home shirt.
