Arkins set for move South
Veteran striker Vinny Arkins seems set for a return to the eircom League after Portadown manager Ronnie McFall told the 35 year old he would be released.
Arkins has spent nine years at Shamrock Park and scored well over 200 goals in the time.
Longford Town have already been linked with a move to sign the former Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers player. He also lined out for Notts County and Dundee United amongst others. It is believed a number of other eircom League clubs are also interested.
