Serves you lot right for taking both of those players under our noses by Wallace and Fat telling both players that there was no youth set up at Waterford.

I guess what comes around goes around.

    Screwed all the way.

You're back to calling him "Fat" now again I see since you've realised he was only using your pathetic little club to get a nice big cheque and had no interest whatsoever in your fortunes?!

Dolan was the manager when he made those comments and when Long made his debut for Ireland U19's.

It was great to see my own name in the programme and see Cork City alongside big clubs like Roma, Inter, Milan and Juventus."

He hit the post with a diving header after coming on against Italy for his Irish u19s debut. City boss Pat Dolan told corkcityfc.ie, "Shane playing is fantastic news and a great honour for him. It's a reward for his hard work.

"It's a fabulous achivement for everyone associated with Shane, especially his family and his former club St Michael's in Tipperary."

He has played with Reading winger Jonathan Hayes each time he has appeared for the Irish u19s. He played for the Ireland international amateur team in two games
