Judging by the chairman they had on Prime Time during the Saipan Saga, I wouldn't be impressed. He ended up making gestures of punching Dunphy which, much and all as I'd like to see it happen, it didn't make a great impression of the organisation.

Don't think he's the chairman of the ROI supporters Club. That geezer represents some mythical organisation with 10's of thousands of ROI fans

Depends what your after. The Dublin branch meet monthly at the working mens club in Dublin, they organise away trips, sort ticket/block booking applications etc.../ arrange evening events.

Im in the Dublin ROISSC but I live in Manchester so very rarely travel with them. They are a sound bunch though and I often meet some of them for the games. Membership is fairly cheap so if nothing else it could be a few more contacts for tickets, pre match pint etc.....

EDIT: There are clubs in London & West Midlands (Birmingham) as well, not sure of the regional clubs in Ireland.
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

There are three main branches of the ROISSC that I am aware of -
Dublin: PO Box 2942, Dublin 2 or www.roissc.com
London: PO Box 396, Harrow, Middx, HA2 9PT, UK or www.rissc.org
Birmingham: PO Box 101, Guild of Students, University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 2TU, UK

I have also come across guys from other branches in Carlow and Luton, UK, but have no contact details for them.

There was big article in the Irish Independent Sports supplement a few months ago just before either the France or Switzerland home game about the club in London which seems to be well organised. They have a decent website which is worth a look.

That eejit is a guy called Alan Hunter, who claims to represent tens of thousands of fans who are members of the 'mythical' Irish Football Supporters Association. Hunter and his antics have been discussed on this forum at length previously.
Honest! I am not a secret Tim nor a closet Sham - I really am a Seagull.

My advice would be to do a search here on Alan Hunter and make your mind up from that.

As Superhoops pointed out Alan Hunter has nothing to do with the Official Supporters Club. He is a muppet who has for some daft reason been given the ability to talk.
