Kilkenny City Squad

Lads, i am trying to find out the current squad in Kilkenny City FC.

I have player profiles (some names dont match players correctly) on the team when Ger Bickerstaffe was there, so i'd imagine alot of them have moved on.

The current confirmed transfers for the club this year so far are ....

So we know they aren't there. Adrian Fitzpatrick is incharge and Mark Reid is his assistant. Can we all try and put the squad together over the next few weeks.

I'd say give it a few weeks cause the squad is going to change a lot with the new management team having just arrived.

Mark Andrews - gone Evergreen (local)

Curran - gone

Brian Mallon - gone Waterford Bohs

Naill Andrews - gone Waterford United

Shanahan - gone

Barry O Connor - gone

Cosgrave - ?

Rockett - gone

O Sullivan - gone

Paul Leahy - probobly be here next season. Decent player (CM)

Hayes - gone

Ryan - gone

Browne - gone Waterford United (was only at City on loan)

Raggett - East End (local)

Bourke - gone

Stanley - gone

Jamie Duffy - still with us but has handed in transfer request but according to rovers official website he has already signed for them

John McNicholas - will probobly be here next year

Clohessy (gk) is signed up for next year

Loughman - gone to Rovers

Aidan Price - gone to Rovers (class player)

Tadhg Purcell - was signed on a 2 year deal and without clauses so is still here but has handed in transfer request. The club have put a 10,000 price on him. He plays upfront or as an emergency winger. Great player.

Brian McCarthy - Came in on loan from Cork last year and looks like he is staying for next season - not sure if its a year loan or a permanent deal. He is a decent goalscorer but definitly not good enough for Cork City

Dave O'Conner - came in on loan from Pats last year and did really well for us. He is either gone to Rovers or gone back to Pats

Phillip Shephard - gone back to Pats

Shane Guthrie -(Was here on loan) gone to Galway on year loan. Good player could become an important player for Cork City in a few years
