Anyone know what is up with that forum, i am trying to PM a member and it is saying i cant do so ? ifgrounds is my handle there. Is there a mod from there on here by any chance ??

I think i read on a thread on it that ye have to be a paid member to do stuff like that

Yep, to help pay for the cost of the new server (it was costing the guy who runs it a small fortune) there is now an anual fee of £10 or £1 a month.

The old server couldn't handle the volume of traffic and kept crashing, it got to the point it was unuseable. There a lot of new features for patrons and various competitions. Brian (the guy who runs it) does a great job and uses the funds for other things too. A regular poster recently got a bad beating at a Game on the mainland, a mate of his was duly dispatched to his house with playstation games.

He also bought a wreath on behalf of ILF for George bests funeral. He also offered up free tribute posters to boot.

If you are a non patron the PM function is disabled but you can still read any posts on the forums. You also have unlimited posts on the "genera Irish league" section and 25 posts per month on each individual clubs section.

I think the off topic section is out of bounds too, which is a shame, can be a real laugh there. It gets a bit hot and heavy at times on ILF but once you are used to its good craic. I've met a lot of good peopel from a lot of clubs thanks to the site and tbh my computer would hardly be on but for ILF.
